Hi! I’m Wangchuk, your photographer and founder of Wangchuk Watteel Photography. I am so glad you’re here. I’ve always believed that the connection between a photographer and a client begins long before we ever speak. After all, how can you invite someone into your home and let them into your most special moments without knowing who they are and how they work, right?So here it goes…
I am Tibetan/Nepalese, born and raised in India. After completing my Master’s degree in Europe, I moved to the Middle East for a market consulting role with an international firm in Muscat, Oman. Between discovering a new culture, building a life, and juggling a demanding job, I met my soulmate and fell in love. When his career brought him to Dubai, I took a leap of faith and followed him.
And here I am, now a mother of two beautiful children, navigating expat life, motherhood, and entrepreneurship. Today, I run my family photography business in Dubai while building a life with the love of my life by my side.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
What started as a hobby in the early days of motherhood quickly turned into my passion.
I spent years, learning photography through professional techniques, working with natural light, and developing an approach to storytelling that feels honest, intentional, and timeless.
After the pandemic, I brought this vision to life by starting my family photography business in Dubai working with clients who trust my art and value authenticity as much as aesthetics.
Today, I work primarily with natural light, photographing families, maternity sessions, newborns, and female-led personal brands. My clients choose me for my empathy, patience, and genuine care, the qualities that help turn every session into a time capsule, captured one frame at a time.
